Phase 1 — Levels 1 to 50
Getting off the starter dock with enough C$ for a real rod.
Everything starts at Moosewood. The goal is not to catch anything good — it is to accumulate enough C$ to leave. Sell after every few catches rather than hoarding.
- 1–15: Starter rod, Moosewood shallows, catch whatever bites.
- 15–30: Buy the Plastic Rod for the cast speed, then move to the docks where the water is deeper.
- 30–50: Ferry to Roslit Bay and buy the Fortune Rod as soon as you can afford it. Grind the coral reefs.
Phase 2 — Levels 50 to 250
Where the earning method changes, and most players miss it.
You will bounce between Mushgrove Swamp and Vertigo depending on the weather. Around level 100 the correct move stops being fishing.
- 50–100: Mushgrove Swamp. The murky water needs the Aurora Rod. Wait for rain to pull the swamp monsters.
- 100–250: Buy the Magnet Rod and farm crates in Vertigo instead of fish. A steel crate beats a full inventory of mid-tier catches, and the rare bait inside is worth more than the C$.
Phase 3 — Levels 250 to 1000
High entry cost, absurd returns.
Endgame is the Calm Zone and the Mariana Trench. You need either the Ethereal Prism or the Olympian Godbreaker — below those, the trench will simply snap your line on weight alone.
- The loop: Truffle Worms in the trench during Eclipse events. A single Mythical abyssal catch can clear 500,000 C$.
- While offline: Bait traps in the Calm Zone keep accumulating, so set them before you log off.

Expected: C$ 0
Things that aren't obvious
- Weather is a spawn table, not decoration Several species only exist during rain or fog. If you need one and the sky is clear, rejoining servers is faster than waiting for the cycle.
- Roll for Lure before Luck Lure II and Luck III scale your income far faster than flat weight bonuses, which do nothing until you are already in the trench.
- Cancel bad casts Premium bait is consumed on the catch, not the cast. If the shadow is small, reel in and recast — a wasted Truffle Worm costs more than the fish is worth.
